Kokroma's Winter Break
January 27-29 2021
Kokroma Team take a break in the skies above Pokhara
After a very intense 10 months from the start of the first Covid-19 lockdown, Kokroma staff had the opportunity for a 3 day break in Pokhara. They had all worked non-stop mask making - over 120,000 3 layer cotton/Cotton-Polyester masks for INGOs and embassy's and private donors here in Nepal and abroad. For many of our staff it was the first time to fly in a plane - Kathmandu>Pokhara>Kathmandu.
The three days were packed with visits to a weaving workshop at Women's Skills Development Organization, restaurants, temples, Peace Pagoda - still closed because of the Pandemic - but wonderful views over the city and an amazing chance for each of them to go paragliding thanks to the generosity of Karma Flights.
