By using every piece of fabric, we minimize environmental impact while creating unique, sustainable quilts that tell a story of mindful craftsmanship and eco-conscious design.

Washing:

Use a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent suitable for cotton fabrics.

Drying:

It's best to air dry cotton garments to preserve their shape and prevent shrinkage.
If you prefer to use a dryer, select a low or medium heat setting.
Remove the items from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles.
Hang or fold the cotton clothing immediately after drying to maintain its appearance.

Ironing:

If necessary, iron cotton garments while they are slightly damp or use a steam iron.
Set the iron to the appropriate temperature for cotton fabrics (usually the "cotton" setting).
Iron on the reverse side of the garment to prevent direct heat contact with the fabric.
For stubborn wrinkles, use a pressing cloth or place a thin cotton fabric between the iron and the garment.

We dispatch local orders in Nepal within 2 days and International orders once a week. This usually takes between 8-10 days but with seasonal considerations like Christmas it is best to allow up to 21 days.

Kokroma is a small scale enterprise in Kathmandu and your orders are wrapped with care ensuring your special items are in perfect condition when they arrive. Nothing is automated here, just a team of men and women packing by hand.

All sales are final and not eligible for returns or exchanges except in exceptional circumstances. Contact us here before returning any items including the Order Number, Name and Date of Purchase. Items must be unused and in their original packaging and shipped at the customer's expense.

A mother of two with a gentle, nurturing spirit, Laxmi learned sewing through an NGO program before joining Kokroma. When she’s not quilting, she tends a small rented patch of land outside Kathmandu, growing vegetables with patience and love, then sharing the harvest with her team. Just like her garden, her quilts are expressions of quiet resilience, care, and the beauty of things grown by hand.
